It is most definitely the best time right now to be a Moonie at this waking moment.

We have the pre-orders up for the Sailor Moon Figurearts. There have been a motley of new merch. The Sailor Moon music has been cast. The anime is now most definitely happening. There are new--

Oh, the Anime?

Is that what everybody wants to know about?

Well, thanks to missdreamsubs, she has told us the gist of what was mentioned in the  August 2013 issue of Nakayoshi magazine today (I need to go to Little Tokyo to buy this said magazine, btw). The new Sailor Moon anime has started production and confirmed for release between the months of November 2013 and January 2014. So it’s coming!



Speaking of the anime-- Momoiro Clover Z has some Sailor Moon theme related news coming in August with their upcoming tour. I don’t know who is going to be in Japan when they DO tour--but I’m sure we’ll all find out one way or another.

But with the biggest announcement, other merch HAS been confirmed. Sailor Moon keychain “gashapon” (pictured below) in in the making along with new apparel made for women of the age of 20.  And oh yes--there is also Sailor Moon EYELINER in the process.



That said about eyeliner, let me mention the other Sailor Moon Makeup we have Coming Soon. The Face Powder and Nail Polish are set for release this October. Both are pictured below and are actually pretty pricy for makeup, the powder being $40 and the Polish at an unearthly $53. So if you have the money--don’t forget to tell us about how you like it!



There has been so much Sailor Moon Merch announced, so I’ll try to gloss over the rest of everything....

An assortment of 10 phone cases and other phone accessories are available for pre-order through the Japanese Bandai site. The cases are available for the iPhone 4&4S, iPhone 5, Xperia Z S0-02E, Xperia A S0-04E, GALAXY S III&IIIα, GALAXY S4 SC-04E and cost around $25 dollars. Phone stickers and a privacy screen for phones with a 4.3” screen are up as well.



The Sailor Mercury Figureart is now up for pre-order with an announced Sailor Mars version coming soon to order as well.

There is a ring version of the Crisis Brooch coming soon in either plated gold or silver. A swarovski crystal in the middle going for around $165. It’s kind of pricy--but I know I, myself am thinking about getting this for the Winter Holidays. It’s this or a laptop--but this is SOOOO pretty!



Looking for a reason to go to Japan? Sailor Moon Musical: La Reconquista comes to stage in September. I’ll keep my eyes out about tickets. But it sounds really interesting--considering we’re going to our roots with a show based on the Dark Kingdom. Oh, and an ALL FEMALE cast.



Now that I have the new stuff out of the way--here’s a few reminders:

-Sailor Moon Twelve (THE LAST VOLUME) Comes out July 16th. That is--unless you will be at Anime Expo and can get your hands on it this weekend.



-You can pre-order the short story books on amazon. These were originally short unrelated stories in the original release of the books. They were separated from the rest of the series to take out any confusion.



-The Art Book release date has YET to be announced.
